Tania Hird founded her Melbourne-based namesake label in 2022. Tania Hird Designs is the embodiment of elegance in resort-wear. It is synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship, intricate embroidery and opulent sensibilities.
 
Tania Hird Designs dresses are consciously manufactured in limited numbers, bringing bespoke exclusivity to the brand. The designs are made from favourable fabrics,
predominantly cotton, adorned with romantic embroidery, lace and details. Tania brings her astute eye and dexterity to the design and creation of her collections.

Tania, a former lawyer, interior designer and mother of four, has ventured far and wide, across the seasons, over many continents. She finds inspiration in the summer sun, whether it gilds the water around the Greek Isles, the exquisite beaches in the Cote D’Azur, or an outdoor restaurant, after exploring a new town. She found something amiss within the Australian market, for sensational yet comfortable dresses, to take her seamlessly and elegantly from beach to table, day to evening, and back home to Australia. Consequently, Tania Hird Designs was born and Tania returned to her sewing machine and pencil .
 
Tania is determined to design for the new era female, to create captivating designs perfect for many occasions, modern silhouettes & with the flexibility to be worn in a range of flattering styles. Sizing couldn't be more simple with Tania Hird Designs and where possible is one size fits most.  Every piece is distinguished by Tania’s alertness for astounding quality, colour and finish. The hues are inspired by the places Tania has experienced; the colours of the world of summer and current fashion Pantones.
